It's a shame - it was shaping up to be a good dual between the two.

They are awful optimistic on his return. The bone was sticking out. He'll be well rested for one final run on the Ducati next year before going to F1

I hope he does go to F-1. He would get crushed there. He would be better off sticking to 2 wheels where his expertise is. Yeah, I heard they are only estimating him out 4 weeks and then trying to return. Not sure about that. I'm not a Rossi fan, but I also hate to see the top rider get injured. It will be interesting to see if Lorenzo dominates or if the others step up to challenge him. Pedrosa rose to it yesterday, but no one seems to be consistent from race to race except Lorenzo. Hell, he started crashing and had DNF's toward the end of last year also.

Rossi has tested in an F1 car and didn't do bad, but there is a big difference between being fast on an open track and being able to handle the traffic. Yes, I wish Hayden and Stoner would step it up. If they don't, MotoGP will get awful boring watching the same 2 riders dominate...
