After we visited Putnam Park on Sun. we rode out to 243 so. It is about 5-6 miles west of Putnam Park on U.S. 40. Turn left on 243 heading south. New pavement all the way to 70 and then it is still good pavement til you get to 42. 42 is ok it has some twisties to it and some very long straights. 42 will take you to U.S. 59 Brazil exit on 70. we turned around an ran 42 all the way back to U.S 39 and then into Plainfield on U.S. 40. IT was alot more fun than riding on 70 all the way to Putnam Park.. Bring something to clean your shield cause it will be covered running on those back roads.
