Damn it man, how did I miss that! Those nickel Brembo brakes looks very trick. I saw them at the dealer show last year.

Yep 50% off you get one caliper, just like the picture shows.

So how did everyone make out on their projects?

My bike was at the shop all Winter for repairs and the suspension stuff so I failed at tearing her down in my garage and getting the frame powder coated. I should have time to pick her up on Tue or Wed and can get to cracking on the rest.

I did end up getting the airbox but I got it today instead of back in November. A few really good deals popped up within the last couple of weeks. A Nicoles flywheel, spacer and two nuts, CF / Kevlar Race Tank NIB and a Bursi CF Fairing Kit NIB with the later just being offered to me today.

With the new suspension bits she should ride like a whole new bike. The 999R is already just about the best you can get but with the 27mm offset, 749R rear and a fork duo put together by the one and only Matt Carr you know it is going ride good.

The new eye candy will make her look new too. I am still trying to figure out how I am going to do the paint...I have to keep some surprises

The airbox, Nemesis autotune and quick shifter I have in the garage should give the bike a bit more in the seat of the pants dyno too.

All things considered with my late start I think it was a productive winter. Next year I will have to do the powder coat and sometime this summer I will hit the lottery and get my BST wheels. Donations always accepted

So let's hear it, what did you get finished. Go back and read your post and see how it turned out.

    Default My projects

I'm having 95 era Showa adjustable forks put on my 1995 900SS CR. Jason at the shop is changing the oil, replacing the weak factory springs with 1kg springs and I had the caps anodized blue. Then he'll put a Nichols flywheel on. George Webster cut down my old carbon D&D pipes to 10 inches, repacked them, and blacked out the end caps. I'm having the spaghetti header pipes ceramic coated black. I also picked up some black billet exhaust collars, new engine studs, and titanium nuts to mount them up. Then I'll take the can mounts and clean them up, maybe coat them black. Last thing to do is order some new barrel band clamps and chuck the older looking ones I currently have. That concludes the 900SS mods.

Then on to the Multistrada. I just put a dark smoke Zero Gravity double bubble screen on today. Then I'll put on the Arrow race headers so it can breathe, after I get them coated black. Also put a Ducati Performance tank bag on it. Lastly, the red wheel stripes. Oh, and can't forget my custom seat recover with tri-color stripe.

    That's it for me.
